Sacred Spot in the 3rd grade Garden

Dear Journey School Students and Partners,

Thank you so much for stepping-up last Saturday! You came through BIG time! Consider that:

· The first parent showed up before 7:00 a.m.

· The last parent left after 7:00 p.m.

· In between, 62 additional parents, grandparents, and family members signed-in

· At least another 15 community members participated along the way

· Over 30 children/students cared for their campus

· Over 75 snow-cones were served!

· 10 teachers and staff gave up their Saturday to work alongside their parent partners and students

· At one point, over 50 cars filled the parking lot

· The goal for the day was to have 50 individuals show up

· We more than doubled that number!
