Patti Connolly, Co-Educational Director
Over the past year, Patti Connolly has served Journey School as a Teacher-Mentor and Field Supervisor. She is also a former teacher, instructional leader, and parent educator at Journey School. We are thrilled to announce that Ms. Connolly’s presence on campus will increase even more in 2012-13—as she will serve as Co-Educational Director with Ms. Bonnie River. Ms. Connolly has over 20 years of experience in Waldorf education. She graduated from CSU, San Francisco with a Liberal Studies B.A. and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. She subsequently graduated from the Waldorf Teacher Education Program at Rudolf Steiner College and went on to serve as a class teacher, taking a class from Grades 1 to 8. Additionally, Ms. Connolly has served as a Kindergarten Teacher, Specialty Teacher, Special Education Teacher, International Educational Consultant, and a Faculty Administrator. Ms. Connolly has taught at the Public School Institute at Rudolph Steiner College, instructing public school teachers in Waldorf methods during summer intensives. One of Ms. Connolly’s passions is training parents, and analyzing how child development theories and brain research align with the Waldorf educational model.
