Schooling the Imagination addresses the growing concern of both educators and parents that many children today are suffering from a lack of the arts in public schools. This all-day conference offers innovative ways to implement a well-rounded education that engages the whole child.

Mr. Pearce is well known as the author of eight books, including national bestseller Magical Child. Also renowned as an exceptional public speaker on human intelligence, creativity, and learning, Pearce has presented over 2,500 programs to date at most major universities in the United States and
various institutions worldwide.

Patti Connolly

Nurturing Creative Minds in the Classroom
Ms. Connolly brings over 20 years experience as a Waldorf teacher of kindergarten to eighth grade. She is an adult educator, administrator and inspiring mentor. Patti has a passion for working with children with special needs as well as an interest in brain development and supporting parents.

Caprice Young

Panelist, “Schooling the Imagination” Discussion
Ms. Young is the CEO of the California Charter Schools Association.
Several experts on childhood development will join Ms. Young for a group discussion and to answer questions about incorporating innovative approaches to optimize public education today. Tim Connolly, who has been a private and public school administrator, teacher, mentor and parent, will moderate the panel.
