Paul Breazeale

Paul Breazeale was born and raised in Southern California. He attended Capistrano Valley High School. He attended junior college at Saddleback College where he studied classical voice and received his AA in Music. He finished his education at California State University Fullerton where he received his BA in Theatre Arts. Upon his college graduation he completed his teaching credential through CSUF and cleared his BTSA credential through UC Riverside. 

Paul joins the Journey School staff after spending the last thirteen years at St. Anne School in Laguna Niguel where he did a variety of jobs ranging from daycare assistant, maintenance worker, Summer Camp Supervisor, and teaching assistant. Upon finishing his credential, he was hired to create a religion program from the ground up and taught this program to grades kindergarten through fifth for two years. He spent his last five years as a first grade teacher at St. Anne School.  Paul also was the director and music director of three elementary school plays at St. Anne where up to eighty kids were involved in each production. 

Paul has been an actor all his life and has appeared in professional and community theatre productions throughout Orange County, Los Angeles, and even participated in a world premier stage reading on Broadway. He also directed an acclaimed production of the play Proof at the Cabrillo Playhouse in San Clemente. In addition, he is a singer/songwriter that has performed in large and small venues all across Orange County. He has appeared on the radio station out of Long Beach City College, and has had a song featured on KSBR out of Saddleback College.  

When Paul is not teaching, you will probably find him reading, writing, sitting at his piano, or playing his guitar. Paul lives in Ladera Ranch with his wife of two years, Katie, and his three cats Bard, Truffles, and Poe. He is very excited to be a part of the Journey family and is overwhelmed with all the support and warm welcomes he has received since joining the family!
